Structural Steel Design Toolbar is a series of tools that aid the production of structural steel CAD drawings. This toolbar is released as an AutoCAD add-on and it is not designed to function as self standing software. Please note that VBA runtime libraries are required by this add-on, therefore an AutoCAD LT version is not adequate for installing and running the toolbar.

SSD Toolbar currently contains:

• Plotter paper setup commands, in order to set a drawing paper in model space,
• Steel member library of European standards cross section, to allow fast drawing of detailed member cross sections,
• A set of three extra commands to allow drawing of I, U and L members (with parallel flanges only) that are not contained in the library.

The cross section library currently contains the following groups of members according to DIN dimensions: IPE, IPN, HE-A / IPBi, HE-B / IPB, HE-M / IPBv, UPE, UPN, equal and unequal leg L members, and cold formed hollow core rectangular and square cross sections.
